On April 11th, 2025, we gathered once again for a night that’s become near to our hearts—the third annual Safe Haven Gala, hosted by The Salt + Light Realty. This evening, held in honor of Safe Haven Pregnancy Center, was more than just an event—it was a celebration of hope, courage, and the sacred journey of motherhood.

Each year, this gala serves as a reminder of the life-changing work Safe Haven is doing for women in our community. They provide free pregnancy testing, essential support during pregnancy, and continued care through a baby’s first year of life—especially for women who are navigating motherhood alone or without resources. Their mission is to ensure no woman feels unsupported as she chooses life and steps into motherhood.

This year’s theme carried a powerful message: that women can pursue their dreams and motherhood. Guests first heard from Ramona “Mona” McManus, President and Director of Safe Haven, who shared inspiring updates on how the organization is growing and the impact it continues to have in the community. Following her heartfelt message, a touching video was played featuring Kelly, a young woman currently living at the Safe Haven House with Mona. With visible emotion, Kelly spoke about how Safe Haven has given her the ability to care for both her child and herself in a safe, supportive environment—a moment that deeply moved many in the room.

The keynote speaker, Savannah Marten, Executive Director of Bella Vita Network, then took the stage. Bella Vita is a Christ-centered organization that empowers individuals and collaborates with like-minded partners to create sustainable, life-affirming solutions. Through bold advocacy and innovative programming, they aim to make abortion unthinkable by reminding every person of their worth. Savannah’s message was both challenging and encouraging, leaving guests with a renewed sense of purpose and hope.

The evening was rich with creativity and community support:

  • Local singer KPV gave a soul-stirring performance, leaving the room full of emotion. Her voice echoed the heart of the night—fearless love and unwavering faith.

  • Guam Potters joined us with their beautiful Alabaster Collection. Each handcrafted piece offered guests something more than décor—it was a tangible reflection of beauty formed through pressure and purpose.

  • Olfactory Creative presented their “Scents of a Woman of God” fragrance. This custom scent were intentionally created to reflect the spiritual identity, grace, and strength of a faith-led woman.

  • Blue Moon Studio, known for their permanent jewelry, offered something both stylish and sentimental. Their fundraiser booth was a hit with guests who lined up to select custom jewelry that would be forever sealed in support of Safe Haven.

At the heart of it all was the unwavering belief that every woman’s life—every story—is worth fighting for.

We are humbled to be a part of this ongoing tradition and so grateful to every guest, artist, business, and supporter who joined us this year. The Safe Haven Gala is a reflection of what we can do when we come together to lift up others in love.
